Tanni Browne

When Tann-I left school, he had one aspiration: That was to sing. With friends he joined a band called Groundation, who wrote their own material and toured the universities and club circuit. They recorded a session for the late John Peel for radio one and later recorded a double AA side Juggernaut and Fa-Ward of which Juggernaut was used as a signature tune for the show for a short while. Tann-I left Groundation and joined Oneness Progress who was featured on channel 4's Rockers Road Show. He relocated to London, where he got involved with the world famous Greensleeves Records and the Reggae Regulars Band and recorded 4 tracks for them, after which he left the music business for a while to spend time with his family. But unable to leave music alone, joined The Duppy Conquerors, A Bob Marley & The Wailers Tribute Band. Throughout his career, Tann-I has supported acts to the like of, Third World, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Curtis Mayfield and the Wailers Band.
